There was a bit of a sandstorm as the Sandman was back in full force (see later); our current leader in the championship race must have been affected since a brilliant gross 64 last week was followed by somewhat more shots this week. The game is palpably unfair, particularly on delicate souls like myself. Talent will out as I was reminded today, so a former champion, new to Superheros, Deathstroke (S Ling) won with 41 from The Secretary Bird, Kid Flash (N Pepperel) and Colossal Boy. In the crisps were Dr Fate, The Sandman, The Phoenix (gremlins circled and swooped) and Captain Comet (J Brock). One or two people have been awarded belated crispy points so watch out for that. |
